The shoe that started it all... a 1985 Air Jordan 1. The shoe Michael was quoted to say looked like a clown shoe. Designed by Peter Moore during his short stint with Nike. The shoe was successful at the time and widely worn. Mostly due to the fact that they went to the outlets relatively quickly when the novelty wore off and people didn't want to spend the $65 on them anymore. It was the cheapest full leather shoe to be had for $15, which made them a popular choice for skaters. Today, they are eternalized in sneaker history, and for good reason. Still a very stylish and bold shoe to this day.
