The shoe that solidified Nike's place in the sportswear market... The 1988 Air Jordan 3. A creation of Tinker Hatfield, the easily recognizable Jumpman logo was born. A lot of people don't realize this, but this shoe is what introduced the famous freethrow line dunk silhouette logo. Before then, the Air Jordan's 1 & 2 only featured the wings logo. This shoe was an incredible hit and is what makes them so rare. Higher production numbers than the 2's, but lower production numbers than the two's. Premium materials sourced similarly to the 2's, but the unique styling is what set this pair over the top. Anybody who was able to afford the $100 retail at the time wore them into the ground. This particular pair was restored, and I sourced the mismatched size original box. Just the box alone goes for several hundred dollars to this day. Incredible pair!
